'It means everything': Cowboys make Central Florida DT Trysten Hill the 58th overall pick in NFL draft - Dallas News

FRISCO -- The Cowboys used their first pick of the 2019 draft on UCF defensive tackle Trysten Hill, securing him in Friday night's second round, the No. 58 pick overall.

The Cowboys had their choice of several defensive players they had been interested in, including the likes of safeties Taylor Rapp, Juan Thornhill and Chauncey Gardner-Johnson, when they finally went on the clock on Day 2 of the draft. They'd sat out Thursday's first round after giving up the pick to Oakland last October for receiver Amari Cooper.

Dallas ultimately went for Hill, the 6-3, 308-pounder, who built a relationship during the pre-draft process with Rod Marinelli, Dallas' veteran defensive coordinator and defensive line coach who prizes Hill's under-tackle position. Hill provides needed depth on the interior of a line that should continue to be the strength of a defense that surged last season.

Marinelli worked out Hill at UCF's pro day, as shown below, and praised Hill "that's damn good, man." They talked with both staffs while researching Hill's background.  [Read More]

The Morning After: 'Sonic the Hedgehog' got rescheduled

Employees and partners are already testing its streaming capabilities. Every Xbox One title will be playable on Project xCloud When Project xCloud debuts, it'll be capable of streaming any of the system's games (including backward compatible ones) out of the gate without developers needing to make any changes. Microsoft also says when a developer updates an Xbox One game, those changes will automatically apply to Project xCloud versions. However, changes to the developer's kit let a game know when it's being played from the cloud to adjust for different types of displays or run multiplayer games on a single server. Things to Do Before Going on Vacation

Most of the world sets goals and makes resolutions all the time, however, very few percents of people actually stick to those resolutions. While it’s entirely possible that many people are being unrealistic with their goals, the number one thing you need to do before going on a vacation is to write down your achievements and goals. Doing this will set you up to be productive and enables you to go into your vacation with a clear direction and positive attitude. Part of setting realistic goals and priorities is reflecting on what you’ve accomplished in the past. Here are few good questions to ask yourself: How many accounts did you manage? How much in sales volume did you secure?  Did you reduce cost?  How many clients did you interact with?  Did you surpass a quota? Did you manage a team? If so, how many team members did you manage? Did you work with any notable clients or vendors? Did you secure a...
